After securing a contract to deliver “small meat” for a customer in Sunshine, he bought the first 2 trucks.
By 2007 OFE Refrigerated Transport had grown to 13 Trucks and Vans of different sizes from 3 Pallet Vans to 24 Pallet Trailers and about half a dozen customers.
By 2013 the OFE Group of Companies had grown to a modern fleet of over 40 Trucks and Vans operating 24 Hours a day and 7 days a week.
Flattops, Taut-Liners, Skel’s and Side-Loaders were introduced as well as substantial investments were made in the latest GPS equipment and Preventive Maintenance programs to secure maximum efficiencies and minimum down time of the fleet.
